On October 11, 2025, Lawrence S. Ting Foundation held the “23rd Lawrence S. Ting Scholarship Ceremony and 2025 Sponsorship Presentation” at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), with a total value reaching VND 8.8 billion.

In this 23rd year, the program allocated VND 3.8 billion to provide scholarships to 113 students. These recipients are individuals who face difficult financial circumstances yet have achieved outstanding academic results and actively participated in community service across 10 universities nationwide.

Parallel to this, the Lawrence S. Ting Foundation awarded an additional VND 5 billion to various social organizations, including the Ho Chi Minh City Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans, as well as local Study Promotion Associations. This financial support aims to empower underprivileged children, children with disabilities, and students from ethnic minority communities, providing them with better opportunities for education.

At the event, the Foundation also continued to receive contributions from numerous individuals, businesses, and organizations. These invaluable resources serve as a practical foundation, allowing the community to join hands in implementing meaningful programs and activities aimed at supporting vulnerable lives.

Over the past 20 years, the Lawrence S. Ting Foundation has awarded approximately 125,878 direct and indirect scholarships, totaling nearly VND 160 billion. This long-standing commitment reflects the Foundation’s mission to accompany students on their educational journeys, enhancing their capabilities and contributing to the cultivation of talent to build a solid foundation for the country’s future.
