Scholarship Value and Benefits

This year, the scholarship format and value have been significantly adjusted compared to previous years to provide more practical and comprehensive support to students. Each scholarship will cover 100% of tuition fees, calculated based on the total number of credits for the courses within the student’s officially registered major, according to the university’s official training program. Please note that the Foundation will not cover credits outside the official major program (including credits for a second degree/major) or repeated courses.

In addition to financial support, scholarship recipients will also have the opportunity to join useful skills training courses, participate in internships at reputable organizations, and engage in meaningful community activities organized by the Foundation.

Application Process and Deadlines

Partner universities and students are kindly requested to carefully review the attached document “Selection Guidelines for the Lawrence S. Ting Scholarship Program” for detailed information on key deadlines, eligibility criteria, application requirements, and other important regulations.

Deadline for official nomination lists from universities:

  • Final-year students: August 11, 2025
  • First-year students: September 5, 2025

Universities are kindly requested to send the signed and sealed nomination lists via email to the Foundation. To ensure sufficient backup candidates, the Foundation encourages universities to nominate 10–20% more students than the planned scholarship quota.

Deadline for students to submit online applications: In addition to the university’s nomination list, each student must complete their online scholarship application according to the instructions in the attached document.

  • Final-year students: August 18, 2025
  • First-year students: September 10, 2025

We respectfully request that all partner universities widely disseminate this scholarship information to students so they can learn about the program and submit their applications on time.
