On October 25, 2025, Lawrence S. Ting Foundation implemented its Free Medical Check-up and Medicine Distribution Program (Outreach Services) in Bac Ai Commune, Khanh Hoa Province, bringing practical healthcare services closer to residents in underserved areas.

With the support of dedicated doctors, healthcare units, donors, and volunteers, the program provided medical examinations, health consultations, free medicine, and essential gifts to more than 210 local residents.

Through the examinations, many common health conditions such as hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, and musculoskeletal issues were detected early. In addition to receiving appropriate medication, residents were carefully advised by doctors on daily health care and disease prevention, helping them better protect their long-term well-being.

Alongside medical services, the program also distributed essential supplies to support daily living needs. Notably, with the companionship of Biti’s, more than 160 children from disadvantaged backgrounds received new pairs of shoes – small gifts with great meaning, encouraging them to walk confidently to school and enjoy everyday activities.

The Free Medical Check-up and Medicine Distribution Program in Bac Ai Commune is part of Lawrence S. Ting Foundation’s ongoing efforts to improve community healthcare, especially in areas with limited access to medical services. Beyond immediate support, the Foundation aims to raise awareness and encourage people to take an active role in caring for and protecting their long-term health.
